Most dished ends enter into sheet metal constructions that imply exchanges between the vessel made and the outside environment. Cutting holes for manways and fittings is always a delicate and costly operation for our customers. Entrusting this operation to 3F to perform, from plans they have provided, is a service that is particularly appreciated by our customers. |

An unavoidable step in certain areas of activity (food industry, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics), polishing of dished ends is more and more in demand in numerous other industries. In addition to the aesthetic appeal of delivered products, polishing improves resistance to corrosion and facilitates upkeep of our products. 3F has long understood the importance of polishing for our customers. Our heightened polishing abilities are such that we are able to accept any volume of orders, and this until a Ra of 0.4µ is obtained (see equivalency table, below). |

A natural complement to cold forming,
the heat treatment capacities of 3F allow us to guarantee all mechanical
characteristics imposed by construction codes for austenitic stainless
steel heads, but also and above all, for duplex and super-duplex
stainless grades, nickel alloys and low alloyed carbon steel heads.
